The Only Way is Fitness

theonlywayisfitnessThe Only Way is Essex, or TOWIE to the more than a million viewers who follow the show, is an award-winning ‘scripted reality” show, charting the lives of Joey Essex, Lauren Goodger, Mario Falcone and company as they go about their everyday life in Brentwood.

Now in its 16th series, the show was ground-breaking when it first hit the screens as it made instant stars of the people in it, just for playing themselves. Since its first airing in 2010, the show has won an Audience Award at the BAFTA’s and many of its cast have gone to star in other television shows – most notably Joey Essex who was winner of the ski-challenge show, The Jump, and Mark Wright who finished fourth in Strictly Come Dancing.

Truly Essex

So just how true to life is the show? While the cast do not get scripts, there is some direction to the dialogue and story, but two of the show’s cast members claim that it is closer to reality than viewers might think. Kirk Norcross, who with his father Michael, runs Sugar Hut, a nightclub on Brentwood’s High Street, said: “We’re all from Essex, so this is Essex. It’s not acting. It’s not like they’ve got ‘A’ listers from America and said ‘Right, act like you are from Essex.”

Michael added: “I know what we are doing for this town and the amount of people we are bringing to it. It’s great for the economy, without a shadow of a doubt.”

Knockout

Adding another touch of authenticity to the show, PT Studio One took a starring role in the show as it was the scene of some heavy duty training on the boxing bags. Lockie (James Lock) and Bobby (Bobby Cole Norris) were just two of the stars going through their paces in the training studio in Hainault in a scene aired just recently. The plush interior of the studio showed the lads going hammer and tongs at the punch bags, revealing high levels of fitness and no shortage of boxing ability!
Later, PT Studio social media channels were buzzing with tweets and instagram images showing the buff boys and gals of Brentwood after their trip to the fitness studio.

The Wright stuff

Lockie and Bobby are not the only members of the TOWIE cast to show off their bulging biceps. In a photo shoot with the Mail Online, one of the best known characters from TOWIE, Mark Wright, stripped off to the waist to reveal a perfect set of abs, and toned shoulders and arms that any body builder would be proud of.

The Essex lad outlined his fitness regime on Twitter, “Run this morning, now gym, some may say I am silly choosing to do this, but I say dedication = good results.”

And it is not just the boys who are leading the way when it comes to fitness. Maria Fowler recently explained that her new athletic figure was down to visiting the gym five times a week and eating a healthy diet. “I lost four inches from my waist, going from 30 inches to 26, and I lost my ‘muffin top’. I am amazed at how quickly I saw the change, just six weeks of regular gym work and a revamped diet.”

I think all reality shows are scripted and essay writing service have helped me realize that therefore I try not to watch them anymore as it is surreal.

Well If I talk about myself when it comes to fitness I prefer to do yoga. I guess there is nothing better than yoga. It keeps you healthy fit and also keeps your mind very relaxed and patient. I found on https://www.aussiewritingreviews.com/essayroo-review/ helpful resource thanks for sharing.
